With prices of cameras so affordable these days, almost anyone can be a ‘photographer’. Well, that’s definitely not the case, although it does seem that way sometimes. With professional equipment now affordable to amateurs, it is certainly challenging to discern the difference between a professional and an amateur photographer.
Photography is an art, and should be respected as such. Professional photographers adhere to a code of ethics and standards of professional conduct, rightfully so. More often than not, it is the budding ‘photographers’ who are responsible for ethical faux pas.
